SERA, in conjunction with the National Union of Students and the Greener Jobs Alliance

Speakers include:

Gordon Marsden MP, Shadow Minister for Higher Education, Further Education and Skills

Shakira Martin, President, National Union of Students

Joanna de Groot, President, University and College Union

Labour's 2017 election manifesto reaffirmed its pledge for a unified National Education Service for England, providing a cradle-to-grave learning system incorporating all forms of education. How could this revolutionary approach be used to equip young people and the UK for the green transformation?

From climate change education to skills for green jobs, this roundtable will discuss the opportunities that an integrated national education system could offer for environmental education.

Key questions include:

  • How can we equip young people with the skills needed to succeed in a clean-energy era?
  • How can education policy best complement Labour's ambitious low-carbon industrial strategy?
  • How can Labour ensure that sustainability is integrated through all levels of education?

A green National Education Service would prioritize sustainability, eco-friendly campuses, climate education, and green skills training—empowering students and educators to lead environmentally responsible futures through inclusive, forward-thinking policies and practices. At the same time, professionals aiming to advance their careers can prepare with confidence using valid tests 300-415, featuring updated Cisco ENARSI exam questions, expert-verified answers, and real-world networking scenarios. Master advanced routing technologies and pass your certification exam successfully on the first attempt.
