11.00am – 5.00pm Saturday, 23rd November 2013, Manchester
As always, SERA’s AGM is an opportunity to discuss the previous year’s activities, to look at SERA’s priorities for the coming year in light of the new political context, and to propose resolutions, as well as elect members of our national executive. This year is also the 40th anniversary of SERA AGM so we hope you will be able to join us to celebrate our achievements so far.
For the latest AGM paperwork please go to sera.org.uk/annual-general-meeting.
Any individual SERA member, or representative of an affiliated organisation, who is fully paid up on 11 October 2013 is able to move a resolution and make nominations for the SERA Executive Committee.
Nominations to the executive and resolutions must be nominated and seconded by a paid-up SERA member. Membership can be renewed at sera.org.uk/join-sera. If you need help with this, please do let us know. As we agreed at a previous AGM, resolutions must be expressed in no more than 50 words and nominations to the executive should be accompanied by a 50 word statement.
If you would like to make a nomination to the executive or propose a resolution, please provide the details requested to [email protected] no later than 12 noon, Friday 11th October 2013.
The AGM will take place at:
A sandwich lunch will be provided on the day, so it would be helpful if you could RSVP so that we have can cater appropriately. Please feel free to bring your own lunch if you prefer. Please contact Melanie at the email above to confirm attendance for the event and lunch.
