SERA is holding a fringe meeting at this weekend’s Co-operative Party Conference in Edinburgh. It will take place in the Clarendon Room at the Hilton Grosvenor, Edinburgh, at 12.30 on Saturday 5 October.
The event will be a discussion on the future of Scottish Rail Policy. The Co-operative Party and SERA collaborated on the document Rail Cymru: A People’s Railway for Wales, which considered how mutual models of ownership could be applied to the rail operators in Wales. This event will consider how this might apply to Scotland.
Chaired by Claudia Beamish MSP.
Speakers:
- Vaughan Gething AM, Chair of Welsh Assembly Group of Co-operative AMs
- Joe Fortune, SERA Transport Coordinator
